Hello,

I made a mistake in the floor plan of our bathroom that is no longer reversible. Actually, 10-11 sqm would be enough for us, now it has become 13.5 sqm. And we have no idea how we want/should furnish it now. Attached is a schematic floor plan with marked sewage pipes (the blue dots).

It should include:
- walk-in open shower (1m)
- double washbasin
- toilet
- bathtub (1.90x0.80m)
- 1-2 smaller cabinets for a few towels

We now had the idea to put either the bathtub or the double washbasin in the niche and build a drywall T-wall construction with hidden toilet at the upper drain pipe, shower, and in front either double washbasin or bathtub. On the right in the wall there are two windows each 1m wide, the other dimensions are all interior dimensions. The lower window opens in the other direction (I only had a simple tool available).

Due to the space, which would really be more than sufficient for us, we considered adding an infrared cabin for 1-2 people. But that is where our imagination ends. How could something like that be integrated there?

Are the windows floor-to-ceiling or otherwise large?

And are there sloping ceilings?
Then please draw a 2m line.

thanks, completely forgot. The windows are "normal," about 1.26m high with 1m sill height. I don't have an exact measurement now, but the lower window should be about 0.18m away from the wall, so when opened, you probably won't be able to install a mirrored cabinet behind it, at most only a regular mirror (if even necessary). There are no sloping ceilings and the room is about 2.66m high.

Neither nor o_O

For example, in the attachment, however, the window width of both windows must be changed; so that the total window area amounts to 1.69 sqm ;)

Rhenish greetings

I think the lower window is hinged the wrong way. Since it is probably a city villa, moving or changing the windows from the outside will have visual disadvantages. The room is large, a nice bathroom can be easily accommodated. I would consider to what extent the individual areas will be used simultaneously by the family later on. If 2 or even 3 people use the bathroom at the same time in the morning, the toilet and shower should be somewhat hidden and not directly visible to others. You may need to ensure that the wastewater-producing appliances are located close together, otherwise two downpipes may be necessary. Where is a downpipe currently planned, or where would there be space? Ideally, it should go down in the utility room or in the kitchen area where the sink is. Otherwise, you could end up with a lot of wastewater outlets in the house. Bauexperte's idea is, for example, a way to visibly separate the shower and toilet. Also, not everyone sees the washbasin immediately.
