Good day,
It is about the following:
A bathroom built in 1983 is to be modernized.
At first, I wanted to lay tiles over the existing tiles. However, I am concerned that the floor would then be too high compared to the hallway.
There is underfloor heating installed in the bathroom.
The existing tiles are very difficult to remove.
I am currently considering removing the screed.
Are there any experiences regarding how sensitive these underfloor heating pipes are?
To me, it looks like the screed could be carefully removed from the sides without damaging anything.
Of course, if something does get damaged, I have no problem having it reinstalled.
Do you perhaps have any experience whether this is possible?
Thank you very much
