Hi,

we have the same here, but for us it's a few meters more. I don't have the costs right now, I would have to check this evening.

On the topic of "fire department": according to our information, you need an access road at least three meters wide if building parts are more than 50m away from the street, otherwise access paths are sufficient. As far as we know, staging areas are not necessary, since you are not building higher than 8m, measured at the bottom edge of the window on the upper floor. There are quite a few good publications online, just ask Google.

Oh, and by the way: we are building in the Berlin surrounding area.

Best regards

It would be great if you could check how high the costs would be. Many thanks!!

... so I have taken a look. For water, sewage, electricity, and telecommunications about 18,000€, but the connection fees are also included, and everything is calculated based on 65m.

I can only confirm, it is similar for us as well: The property boundary, not the building, must not be more than 50 meters from a public road. The 8 meters apply here exactly the same. The fire department's statement: They roll out the hoses and come with the extension ladder....

The meaning of this discussion doesn't really become clear to me. Because the connection costs in the narrow sense (utility provider) or in the broader sense (all construction costs including the driveway and entrance) vary from region to region. The fact is that you can basically calculate your connection costs yourself roughly based on the existing statute. There are meters and connection prices. Big factor x. It is the civil engineering company that roughly carries out the connection for the utility provider. I can tell you I pay almost 25k for gas, water, nonsense (just connection). From the service note to the foundation stone, we have 38 meters public. Then the statements from the construction expert regarding your building project do make sense. But as I said, go to the utility provider, send them exact data of your project, make an on-site appointment and have it calculated. Everything else is pure deception and wishful thinking. Good luck. Btw the prices are sad, I know. And the great thing is, you can't do anything about it.
