The thread was actually supposed to be about asymmetry in general. The picture was only meant as a bad symmetrical example.

For clarification. The living room has nothing to do with the garden or its access. And yes, there are two steps down into the living room. The access to the house is via the veranda with more steps. What is shown here is the back side, meaning the garden view. The veranda has two doors. Entrance at the front, garden access at the back.
And it is a one-to-one translation of my architect's design into a plan. There was no consultation or suggestions for improvement included in the price either.

It serves this purpose perfectly. Then a draftsman would have been enough.

My existing property has an asymmetrical roof and the garage is placed "crookedly", asymmetrical to the house, asymmetrical to the plot, asymmetrical to the driveway and asymmetrical to my car ..... it drives me crazy. What was the builder thinking?

With us, everything is also asymmetric. But I spent weeks making sure the floor plan is consistent and looks pleasing from the outside. My general contractor didn’t care. What is your concern now ? I would probably divide the upper window into three parts so that it doesn’t look wide but vertically stretched.

I have taken up your idea with the three-part window.

your idea was not bad. It should definitely go in the direction of a Swedish house.
but at the top there should be a semicircular window for the attic.

The bars in the upper floor window are not correct (I assume this happened unintentionally?), but it already looks a bit more harmonious now. What do you think yourself?
