Are the drill holes for Ikea Minifix the same in Faktum and Metod?

just before ordering, I had one thought: Are the drill holes for the Minifix the same for Faktum and Metod? I was thinking about connecting the top/bottom of Faktum with Metod carcass sides.

Even though the drill holes fit, you were 2 mm short in width and 1 cm in depth.

Hi Georg, it only makes sense if you need a 50 or 30 cabinet. Then the only problems are with the front. If you use it without a front, it is easier to shorten a Metod in width and drill new holes. As a template, you can place the cut-off part on top and drill through it. What do you mean by Minifix? You would first have to glue dowel pieces into the middle and rear holes on the side panels. The front hole should actually fit. Then drill new dowel and screw holes. As the IKEA expert already says, it is 10mm short in depth. The Pax back panel would also no longer fit all around because of the deeper side panels. Regards
