Please report! The entrepreneur would either have to admit that he is stupid (badly advised) or that he is evil (knowingly drafted these clauses). Neither is easy for people like you and me and surely also for the entrepreneur. IMHO there are two possibilities: A) He is (construction) technically so good and not a bad person --> Sign despite the clauses, no risk, no fun. B) One finds a reputable contracting partner who is not only construction technically competent but also legally well advised. Then there is case C: Your entrepreneur smiles, explains that this is the contract for the stupid customers, but you, as a special preferred customer, naturally get the good contract.Nothing remains that can simply be left as is – this could be an interesting negotiation tomorrow
