Phew, and I thought I was picky about some things.

Wood simply doesn't always have the same color... otherwise, you would have had to use tiles..

Natur Pur describes your floor well, light, dark, and medium wood tones, the floor is lively. With Select it would be sorted and more boring, which you did not want. I really like the floor. Parquet and tile installers love customers who spread everything out and sort it on the lawn.

But you only have thumbs, so that is understandable....

That wasn’t bad at all.
But seriously, I had support from an experienced hobby craftsman, and even he eventually lost interest. The drywall installer probably let his creative streak run wild during the attic conversion. It all looks nice, but it feels like the jigsaw had to be used on every third row.
Well, maybe I’ll still get the motivation to finish the house by the time it’s done :D

I think the floor looks very natural. And when the furniture is in, the room looks completely different again. We installed oak parquet ourselves and even when you take the time for yourself and set aside this or that plank because it looks particularly dark, later on a large area you always notice here and there a plank that turned out particularly light or dark compared to the rest. I think that's exactly what makes it natural. I hope you see it that way soon too ;)

Damp cloth and iron :) After a few seconds the dent comes out. Sand down, re-oil and done.

My wife dropped the vacuum cleaner down the stairs in the second week in the house. Solid wood stairs made of rustic oak (with knots). I put a damp cloth on it and ironed it, then the stair builder just sanded it down, filled it with putty and oiled it. It's no longer visible :)

Works also on solid wood tables and other furniture ;)
