Hello,

we have the notary appointment today at 5 p.m. to sign the purchase contract.

Yesterday I noticed that the property is listed as approx. 127 sqm.

Does the purchase contract have to include "approx." for the property size?

May I have it removed by the notary? Will the notary remove it without problems to protect the consumer? What if the seller or the developer does not want it?

The appointment for the signature is not intended to discuss requests for changes, but to sign the final contract.

When we bought our kitchen back then, I made a fixed appointment, for example, so that I would have legal claims. But the kitchen arrived on time.

Not that we then get a plot of land of 100 sqm. That would be possible with the "approx." specification, wouldn't it?

firstly, I unfortunately noticed it yesterday. Besides, we only had one notary appointment. Normally, such things are corrected during the first appointment.

The notary should attach a map to the contract that documents the sold area. The exact number of square meters is then determined by the survey. This is common when, for example, a part of a parcel is separated from a plot and sold. Karsten

Something like this is included in the purchase contract. See attachment. Red is the property, blue the garage, and green the garage yard.

But you can't precisely determine the dimensions from this, can you?
