Approximate indications are common, just like with area specifications of rental apartments or even houses. It is not practical to calculate it down to the cm2 ...

Often it is the case that the final square meters are only determined after the individual plots have been measured.

So, when rounding the approx., the developer will not agree.

To my knowledge, the tolerance is a maximum of 10%. So, you will not end up with 100 in the end.

I didn’t know that. But they can’t just give us 110sqm of land instead of 127sqm. Isn’t there any +/- tolerance? How much less are they allowed to give at most?

10% of 127sqm would be 12.70sqm, which I already find quite a lot.

In the offer, they gave us the calculation of the living area, usable area, and the converted room. This is not included in the purchase contract. Is that normal as well? Can we kindly ask to have it included as an attachment?

To my knowledge 10% +/- So, 110 is also not possible.

You could just as well get a bit more. Normally the actual size is quite close to that.

But call the notary *now*; and not only today at 5:00 PM...
