Hello forum community!
My partner and I are currently buying a plot of land and, of course, I want to have a better overview of the future ongoing costs in advance.
Our construction project is relatively straightforward, a classic single-family house, 140sqm living space.
Therefore, I contacted the municipality for an approximate guideline regarding property tax. The municipality then provided the assessment rate but referred everything else to the local tax office.
So I turned to the tax office with my question – but today they replied that they will not provide any information as long as we are not the owners – they advised me to contact the municipality.
The municipality, in turn, says they can’t help me because the guidelines are set by the tax office.
I’d rather not drive there in person and randomly knock on neighbors’ doors asking for their data... Does anyone have a tip on how to still get approximate guidelines?
Thanks
