Sebastian, the sentence will definitely increase by a few euros. Last year we paid €22 for 1100 sqm. Three weeks ago we received the new notice: €256.
Prior to that, a medieval-looking questionnaire from our tax authorities had to be answered, with a requirement to present the construction documents as well as the construction costs.

All clarifications were made during a personal conversation. If you install a toilet flush without a chain, it counts as upscale equipment. Windows and doors were also installed... so upscale. No joke!
Even the kitchen furniture had to be declared.
The bureaucrat probably enjoyed it, at least he was allowed to neigh loudly. The questionnaire hasn’t been updated since the 70s.

The assessment goes back to the last valuation date in 1964 or, in our eastern region, to 1935. That is why the standard values are so low and have nothing to do with the current market situation. So why change the forms?

Yes, our calculation of the standard value was presented in DM and then converted. 20DM/m2

Today the standard land value assessment notice arrived. The property and house would have been worth just over €7100 back in the day. Multiplied by the tax measurement rate of 8‰ and the multiplier of 450%, that should be around €250 in property tax.

The week before last the invoice arrived - saw it last week and wanted to reply here... completely forgot

Here it is: 650sqm - [Hebesatz] of 360% - comes to about €400 per year!
