Hello everyone,

I have newly registered here because we are currently very frustrated with the topic of ventilation.
Our construction project begins at the end of April.
Solid house with bricks/Poroton, single-family house with 200 sqm living space on 2 levels. KFW 55.

I can’t describe it, but I can’t decide on a central ventilation system because of the long piping in the house. I know that all pipes are clean and protected by filters, but my gut feeling doesn’t agree.
With decentralized systems, we are disturbed by the fans on the exterior facade in all rooms.

Now we are looking for an alternative.
We also didn’t find window rebate ventilators very good.

Now my question
Did anyone else experience this or does anyone know another system?
We learned about a system with overflow vents through [baufritz haus]. However, this is only distributed through [baufritz].
This is a central ventilation that blows air directly into the house via a short path and then distributes it further with overflow vents above the doors.

I look forward to an exchange and your help.

The undecided builder (female)

Window open and close. Listen to your brain and not your gut = (central) controlled residential ventilation

Psychotherapy? Central setting and that's it.

Yes, it is really completely logical that the central ventilation would be the best comfort. But my feeling... Actually unfounded. Yes, I think psychotherapy would be good. Because there are still so many decisions to make.

But... Is there anyone who knows a system similar to that of [baufritz]?

I don't, but it sounds like the window rebate story. Either controlled residential ventilation or manual! I rule out manual for 200sqm. Honestly, I also don't understand your problem: With underfloor heating and cold and hot water piping, you surely don't make a fuss. You drink the water, vapors are inhaled. For heaven's sake, where exactly is the problem with the pipe length?
