Risk life insurance costs us €130/year with a decreasing sum (similar to the loan).

So if it fails because of that........ Well, after death my debts wouldn't matter to me ^^

Comparing electricity COSTS is not meaningful - the kWh consumption is (if at all) comparable.

Which again depends on size, type, insulation, and user behavior.

You actually can’t compare that at all...

It's now just an advance payment... back payments are possible :D In February we had 356 kWh heating and 38 kWh WW at 190 sqm. March projected looks similar so far. We pay 0.248 € per kWh and no basic fee.

Yes, I understand that, but in my opinion the differences are simply too big.

A colleague moved into his city villa without a basement around Christmas 2014 with about 145m2 of pure living space (10x10m) and pays about €1,000 for electricity for his geothermal heat pump (deep drilling) – similar costs for another colleague, also a city villa, about 150m2 but on 3 floors, built in 2007.

Now there is another colleague who heats with gas in a gable roof house with 140m2 + basement (rather unheated or very cool) and pays about €550 for the whole thing.

Now, since I know that the colleague with the 3 floors is always very cozy and the colleague with gas is rather economical, I could imagine that with the same heating behavior the gas or electricity costs are almost the same, right?

I always thought it was worth spending €10,000 more compared to gas?

Sorry if I’m misusing the thread now.

32€ for water and wastewater seems quite low to me. Last year we paid 78€ for water + wastewater every 2 months and had to make additional payments for both due to the dry summer. Consumption around 60m³ in the house for 3 people and 30m³ for garden irrigation. Unfortunately, the exemption from wastewater charges in the garden area only applies from a total consumption of 93m³ for 3 people.

Do you have to carry out a leak test annually for the brine-water heat pump?

Our electricity costs are around 120€/month for the heat pump including hot water and household electricity.

We have the same for waste.

Thanks, yes - the 32 € also seemed very low to us, but we have little experience with it so far. We have a garden water meter, so we only pay for incoming water there (unclear if it's worth it, since it also has a basic fee ;)) As far as the requirement goes, I don't know at least - I'll ask the HB again.
