Even if the application is submitted today, one should expect at least 3 months until the building permit is granted. That won’t happen before your price lock expires, I think, even though that went very badly. Consult a lawyer about what can be done.

Why not?*
That means there is not even a submission planning yet? On what basis was the offer created?
You could have submitted the building application long ago. And why is the appraiser not allowed on YOUR property?
These are all things that you normally (of course I do not know your exact circumstances) can take care of as soon as you own the property (or partly - appraisals - even earlier)...

*Did you miss this or did the construction company stall you? I'm asking because this might provide an opportunity to extend the price binding period if the fault lies with the builder...

Good question. Because the development took a year longer than we had assumed, the issue simply wasn't as present as it otherwise certainly would have been, and I assumed that you would have heard something from the BU in the meantime. To be honest, I wouldn’t have even really expected anything by 10/2022. The whole area is a new development area and the plots have not yet been staked out. Good to know that these are not reasons for further delays. My main question is and remains on what basis price increases are allowed if the contract says nothing about this. Does anyone have experience with this? Many thanks so far for the input
