Hello everyone!
There are already quite a few threads regarding how the BAFA funding process works, etc., but two things have not been addressed there:
1. The costs incurred to actually install the heating system somewhere.
2. The additional subsidies that contribute to optimizing the heating system.
The BAFA information sheet on eligible costs for renewable energies contains the following sentences:
1. On page 5, item 3b: "Creation and connection to the heat pump system – including the necessary technical work and materials"
According to our plumbing company, this includes, for example, the breakthrough through the wall to the outdoor unit and even the foundation that was built to be able to install the outdoor unit.
2. On page 6, item 5a: "Funding is provided for the implementation of electronic systems for operational optimization, increase in energy efficiency, and improvement of the grid compatibility of the subsidized heating technology systems. Components of measurement, control, and regulation technology (MSR) as well as building automation technology can be considered, provided they also serve the operational and consumption optimization of an eligible heat generator."
Listed there, for example, are "sensors, actuators, data loggers" and "digital/electronic radiator thermostats / room thermostats".
Additionally, point 5b: "Assembly and installation including the necessary technical work and materials"
For me this means that I can not only claim the electrician costs for the wall thermostats, but also the costs of the shutter actuators of the home automation system in the subsidy application. Is that correct?
