220 m² for a semi-detached house? Enough space

1. Parking space or garage not mandatory. But since I will build without a basement, I will build a large garage. The city also allows me to do so.

Large garage and the general question "220m for a semi-detached house enough space?" I see in stark contrast. Especially if the garage is supposed to serve as a basement replacement as mentioned, then the cars just stand in front of it anyway.

The smaller the plot, the more likely I would build a basement. Above-ground space is too valuable to me to build over it with a "storage hall." On small plots with semi-detached houses, garages usually also have the disadvantage that you can make 2 of 4 house sides without windows on the ground floor.

Well, not everything can/go into a garage. Also, valuable garden parts are being stolen. I would also build with a basement here, children's floor on the upper floor, parents' area in the attic. That works fine
