Wow, thank you very much for your input!

- Why do you think that our worries are unfounded?

- In option 2 the table would be a bit more flexible in positioning. If we decided on #2, the table would certainly move a bit towards the living room. Only option 1 unfortunately offers little room for maneuver.

Whoever sits on the long sofa part in option 1 can only look south by turning their head, but because of the corner glazing, they have a nice view towards the southwest. We thought that might have some appeal because you don’t just look in one plane.

Narrower than 2.50 m is unfortunately not possible. That is the absolute minimum.

| | - That option had already crossed our minds. However, if you position the sofa on the side, you would be looking east... The view there is not quite as great/wide as to the south and west. Otherwise, that option probably would have been our favorite as well. What would be your favorite under these considerations?

I am for option 2. We have it similar, but we only look into our beautiful garden and not into the distance. Reason: you don't sit on the sofa and look into the distance, at nature. Yes, of course you look, but only briefly, not worth mentioning. Once you have settled on the sofa, you watch TV, read the newspaper, or something similar. If you want to look outside, enjoy, and observe, then you stand in front of the window or on the property or sit on the terrace or dining area. You already have the free "pleasure" through the dining area. That should be enough. Therefore -> option 2

Nobody forbids you to turn your head?

Again? Sofa fixed? Otherwise isosceles. You watch TV and don’t look outside anyway, you look outside and don’t watch TV... if in doubt, you change the position.

I know someone who has a corner window with the same orientation. Floor-to-ceiling with no visible frames. He placed the TV on a very light rack in the glazed corner. Nothing else. It works too but was not a cheap solution.
