I am also currently working on our connection costs (Yes, exactly only connection, lines are already in place)

Here we are at about €13,000 for electricity, water, wastewater, and rainwater. Wastewater and rainwater are only laid up to the property boundary.

So these costs should by no means be underestimated!

Yes, but be glad that you are allowed to drain rainwater. I have to prove that it somehow infiltrates or is managed on my property. And unfortunately, no one explains to me how.

Cistern for example. Made of concrete, buried. Cost with connection to the downpipes 3-5000€.

We already have a cistern (made of PE). But how do I know how big it needs to be? I can't find any info on the stupid pages of the Berlin Rainwater Agency (it really exists!) regarding, for example, sealed area x 3.2578 = m³ required cistern size or something like that (infiltration area, soakaway pit depth, I don't know). I'm now about to just do it and wait to see if anyone gets in touch.

that is a proven method in Berlin, if you also take pictures of it, you are already better than many of your neighbors
