This is stated in the development plan... the development plan of the property. Usually already posted online on the municipal websites. If not, inquire at the building authority.

Well, you have to like it... and if you clad it from the outside... there are plenty of facade panels that you can slap onto houses... then it could look like a real house again...

I understand: houseboat is not for you (by the way: that has a lot of charm, something like that!).

You wrote that you know an architect. Talk to them about the Container House project.

There are entire forums full about the topic Container House. From buying containers and converting them yourself to ready-made solutions. The topic is interesting and I think it should be taken seriously. You can probably really and realistically put something together comparatively cheaply with it. A rather new method that doesn’t seem bad..... if you just reduce the demands... but you are ready for that.

The building authority is your contact point where you can build something like this with you. Make an appointment with the people and talk to them about it.

The bank will of course have a hard time swallowing it..... All the better that you know an architect: Here you have to present a concept that then describes a finished work that is ready to live in and is okay in terms of creation cost / value retention. Then it should work. Don’t forget: here too you need a foundation/inlet and outlet supplies. Concrete slab/foundation. Here immediately also 20T + x is gone......

As I said: The idea is good, pursue it further.....

Best regards

Thorsten

I don't find them nice. I'd rather go more in the direction of a micro house made of wood. But the problem with the development plan always remains. That could be difficult. Used ones are out of the question? You can get something decent for 180k.

unfortunately not here in Berlin North^^, with some luck maybe a terraced house in the middle... but I want something detached. I've often had trouble with the neighbors (singing, playing with the dog, the washing machine spinning after 8 PM, etc..) I would also immediately take something used... : I'm following, I'm following^^ I've already contacted several companies but I believe nobody was really in the office in the week before Christmas. Now I have to wait and find more offers.
