Yes, there is a child allowance / family supplement for civil servants. It also increases progressively... Like back in the good old BAT days when there was still the local allowance...

In general, it should be said that due to the progression of the family allowance, the income including child benefit rises to €4238 for the 3rd and €4610 for the 4th in my case.

with the comparison to the BAT I really just meant that back then there was something equivalent to the family allowance in the BAT pay scale. The BAT hasn’t existed since 2005.
