I think most builders like their own floor plan best, that's why they built it that way. This means many floor plans are already online here because there is a thread about it, and the others do not want to put theirs online for good reason...

Those looking for "likes" should better go to the site with the small blue "f". Personally, I find it more useful in design critiques to point out areas that need improvement. But even I do not at all skimp on positive examples: my posts regularly contain small collections of links to posts where a similar situation has already been discussed and usually received several good suggestions (also in drawn form). In doing so, I also regularly link the post where the final outcome of the discussion can be seen. By the way, I recommend starting the floor plan search after the plot search: the vast majority of floor plans found on the web fit best (or often almost only) on flat plots located in the first row – in other words, the exact type of plot that is increasingly rare on the market.

Even though that sounds nice at first, the thread is nonsense. There is no most beautiful or best floor plan. Otherwise, I could immediately say something like "Neuschwanstein Castle." Hopefully, this quickly shows the absurdity of the question.

A floor plan can never be evaluated independently of the country and the buildability. Size, requirements, number of inhabitants - there are countless criteria that make every house unique. Only when the basics are known can one say whether a house is really perfectly planned.

One could also just leave aside the philosophical fundamental discussions and simply post floor plans that one finds successful (in unity with the plot). Maybe say a couple of words about why, and that’s it.

Of course, I find our floor plan successful. It is very clearly structured, not ornate. At the time of planning, we had “anticipated” the neighboring development that did not yet exist and was unknown, and oriented our building accordingly. That worked out well. But unfortunately private

At least I am willing to contribute something to the topic, Kaho. I do not comment on topics that do not interest me.
