Hello Julian,
in my opinion, the breakdown of your monthly costs cannot be complete and is far too low compared to the total costs. You should calculate correctly here so that you don’t later wonder why much less money is actually available than planned:
Groceries only 350 euros for a household of 4? That seems way too little, that would be less than 3 euros per person per day including drinks…
The following items are completely missing:

[*]Costs for drugstore / hygiene products, cosmetics, medications
(especially with a toddler, there are always large expenses at the drugstore)
    [*]Vacations
[*]Costs for leisure activities (eating ice cream, swimming pool, cinema, amusement park, attending festivals, etc.)
[*]Reserves for car (inspection / repairs / new purchase)
[*]Special expenses for purchases for the children (vehicles, furniture, toys)
[*]Savings contributions for children and adults
[*]Costs for consumer goods (purchasing new electronic devices (notebook, mobile phone), tools, kitchen appliances, furniture, etc.)
[*]Expenses for gifts or hosting celebrations (birthday / baptism)
    [*]Disability or life insurance
    [*]Private retirement provision
    [*]Donations

My advice: keep a household book for at least one year where all costs are really recorded so that you have a realistic view.

We are talking here about sustainable income of 1860€/month. If you are generous and add child benefit and alimony, it is 2470€. For a household with 4 people. Two cars are also present. In the bank's liquidity calculation, there is practically no free income left for financing. And that is good, because in reality it is probably not much different. 1400€ expenses for a 4-person family per month... that is almost exactly at the Hartz 4 rate, that is not true at all. In 5 years the world will look different, now building is not even to be thought of.
