It seems to be turning around for the better, among other things, thanks to the opposing party's lawyer, i.e. from GU2. He really kicks his client’s ass, my lawyer couldn’t do it better. For example, out of frustration he dismantled the interior scaffolding, two days later it was back. If a craftsman doesn’t get his invoice paid, I call GU2’s lawyer and the next day the money is there. Works perfectly. Now he’s taking care of a proper site manager.

Sorry, I had overlooked that. No, we are three builders in total. However, we are in close contact and coordinate very regularly. The other two builders are also "fed up" and are going to the same lawyer so that he can represent all three builders.

Somehow I'm too stupid to find the "Edit" button. It is a general contractor. He only works with subs. He basically has quite consistent partners and has been on the market for almost 12 years. Unfortunately, his "regular structural builder" fell seriously ill with Corona shortly before the start of construction on our house (we even had talks with him) and has now been in the hospital for over 6 months. Therefore, the GC is currently probably looking for a reasonable new structural builder. I can't judge how the quality of the original structural builder would have been, but it could hardly have been worse :D
