Hello,

we have finished the rough planning and would like to get opinions, especially regarding the light incidence and windows.

The window in the guest WC should face north, and the floor-to-ceiling window in the upstairs bathroom will definitely be removed.

The office on the ground floor is now to become a utility room, and the pantry a wardrobe.

For this, the office should move to the 15 sqm basement room, as it is hardly ever used. However, I now have major concerns that the basement will be too dark.
Since there will be a terrace on the south side, no light wells can be installed here. The large basement room is actually intended for parties. The light trench is also supposed to become an external stairway. This means there will be no further windows in the room and the future office in the basement would be very dark as well, since the window will be small due to the garage.

I have similar concerns about the kitchen, which also has only one window on the north side due to the garage.

The same applies to the bedroom. Here there is one window facing east, but directly in front of the garage roof. The narrow window on the north side should be removed, we don't like it. I think it won't work here without a skylight. What do you think?
Should skylights also be planned for the children's rooms on the south side?

And do you notice anything else at first glance that might not be so practical?

Thanks for the feedback!

The hallway downstairs is totally convoluted and the staircase doesn't fit in there at all. The kitchen could indeed be too dark. I would have a second floor plan drawn up again.

Hello Hello

Then I'll add something......
why the shaft about 80 cm wide shaft in the living room ceiling
and mentally take a basket of laundry to the closet area in the bedroom
The space between the closets is also too narrow.
Where is the wardrobe?

Ground floor lighting okay. Children's rooms possibly too dark. How much is A (area) window rough opening/living area in the children's rooms?

At what parapet height are the windows in the bathroom and bedroom here installed? And what knee wall height is planned there?

Then the staircase .. 14 risers? What is the rise/run measurement of the staircase?

Office in the basement .. what is the office used for? More file storage or actual working from home?

Is there already collaboration with an architect or something like that?
