How many cameras and what resolution? With motion detection, the 218+ quickly gets overwhelmed if other things are supposed to run on it.
Initially two, each with 4MP. In the medium term, 4 to 8 more will be added, then the 218+ will be replaced and will only serve as backup or for documents, photos, videos, etc. The budget is currently simply limited, as my wife is on parental leave. That means a few bills are missing each month. Nevertheless, I think the base is solid and as is well known, appetite comes with eating.
With two pieces, photos, videos, etc., no problem. Also with 4 pieces, not an issue. (As long as you don't run them at 25fps). In the worst case, upgrade the RAM. As long as no virtualization is running, it is more than enough. Motion detection in the camera frees up additional resources.
