Unfortunately, bamboo is not included in the planting list of the development plan. Therefore, hornbeam or beech suit us quite well. With that, we have already met our requirement and can then look further.

Has anyone of you transplanted common privet? Unfortunately, our development plan is also very restrictive and our choice would so far fall on that.

The photinia is still a quite attractive, evergreen hedge plant for me.

I’ll add something: Caramelberry. Leycesteria formosa ’Purple Rechtsanwältin’ Yellow magnolia. Magnolia ’Daphne’ Evergreen leatherleaf viburnum. Viburnum rhytidophylloides ’Willowwood’ Various garden hibiscus and rose-of-sharon. Lilac (various) Panicle hydrangea Well, and if the soil and weather are right for it, of course the rhododendrons!

Bieber0815, your list is great I stumbled upon it by chance yesterday and now I have a long list of shrubs ^^

Since we need quite a few plants and I prefer shrubs/bushes and the like over classic flower beds, your list is simply fantastic
I feel like with what I already had before and the "borrowed" ones from your list, we now have our garden "finished" - well at least in terms of the shrubs

If we can now find a company to do all our paving work our garden will still turn out great this year but that's really a difficult story.
