We will also plant beech trees (on the back side). On the side, we have planted a colorful hedge:

Purpur-Hartriegel
Cornus alba 'Sibirica'

Blasenspiere
Physocarpus opulifolius 'Lady in Red' -R-

Winter-Schneeball
Viburnum bodnantense 'Charles Lamont'

Erdbeer-Deutzie
Deutzia hybrida 'Strawberry Fields'

Japanese spirea Snowmound
Spiraea nipponica 'Snowmound'

Gold privet
Ligustrum ovalifolium 'Aureum'

Yellow-variegated weigela
Weigela florida 'Brigela' -R-

Double-flowered mock orange
Philadelphus 'Schneesturm'

White panicle spirea
Spiraea cinerea 'Grefsheim'

Weigela Bristol Ruby
Weigela 'Bristol Ruby'

Personally, I like cherry laurel just as little as thuja.

Bieber, I googled a few of the shrubs and immediately found a lot of things that I already liked, but didn't know by name. Now I just need to save your list in such a way that I can find it again at our garden facility.

Great plant, I will buy a "shrub" of it and put it in a large pot.

What does it mean he does not overgrow? Does not grow so quickly in width? At the current growth rate, I imagine it has to be pruned heavily twice a year, or not?

It does not form underground shoots that come out of the ground somewhere after a few meters. It always forms its new shoots directly on the plant. It will have to be cut once a year when the desired height is reached. If it becomes too wide, the plant can be cut off and you will have a new bamboo...
