It's just annoying when you have, for example, exhaust air in the room - I couldn't install a soundproof door because of that. Well, you can then also work with overflow elements again.

Only more difficult afterwards...

Well said, but it will still help - what other options should one have if they want more soundproofing there?

For example, I would never install my heat pump on the ground floor - that would simply be too loud for me.

Better planning? Our heat pump on the ground floor is not audible. On the one hand, soundproofing, and on the other, it is hardly in operation at night.
