Which ground is suitable for a prefabricated garage?

Hello everyone!

I am planning a prefabricated garage from the company Garagenrampe for our house.

Apparently, there are 2 options to provide a suitable foundation for this garage.

One option is the foundation slab! And the other option is strip foundations.

Which option would you choose?

Is it a good idea to have a complete slab poured and then lay tiles on it?

Or would you choose strip foundations and then pave the garage?

We had a ring foundation installed for our 50m² double garage and then paved over it.

The garage dealer around the corner (just google Garagen Klaus) had tiles in his garage and always had to push the puddles away with a squeegee. Besides, there is a risk of slipping.
In my garage, moisture from the car in winter can also escape downwards.
On the other hand, moisture also seeps inside over the paving at the edges during heavy rain. Therefore, you should rather avoid wooden shelves on the paving.
When sweeping, the tiles have their advantage again.

A little tip on the side.
Because at your garage dealer all the rims and sleds hang so nicely on the wall. Ask for the prices of all the hanging options and ask what can be hung up.
Simply hanging things on the metal sheet is not possible because it is far too thin. So you need special hanging options. But they make their money on all these special accessories.

What I would do doesn’t have to be right in your case, it can even be wrong. And everyone has their own priorities and preferences [und Budget].

As long as the requirements are not known, it is difficult to give advice ...

What is the garage made of, and is it only for an everyday car with some extra stuff?

My garage for the latter purposes is made of steel and stands on composite paving. It is rented - if I owned it, I would be a bit more design-oriented - but it fully serves its purpose this way.

It is a steel wall garage that is plastered and thus looks like a solid garage. Two cars fit inside.

I don't know the concept - doesn't the garage have a floor?
