I have tried several times on Hammer and even sent inquiries. Unfortunately, no one was interested.

Then try again in 1/2 year. Many construction companies will have to build such things to avoid going bankrupt. Or build the thing yourself;)

So, yesterday Mr. Hoffmann was with us and gave the ok. So it will be a garage made of pumice (3mx10m) after all. Unfortunately, we have to take care of some preliminary work ourselves, such as the floor, electrical, and drainage. At that price, that's actually almost outrageous. A big disadvantage is the long waiting time of 3-4 months and up to 4 weeks for completion. Rekers would have finished that in 6 weeks. But if you have no other choice, you just have to swallow it. Many thanks for your support :)

Quick question about the foundation. Does it have to/should it be frost-proof? Because they only calculated a slab foundation with 18cm plus 5cm of topping concrete for us. I thought 80cm all around. And frost protection starts only from 80cm as far as I have read.

Foundations for buildings should always be frost-free. If the slab does not have a frost skirt, the foundation should be frost-free.

Finally, it starts in November. It took quite a long time. But so far fully satisfied with Hoffmann. Very nice gentleman and always reachable. They were even able to install a window according to our wishes. 2m long and 60cm high (casement window)
