Which door fits the Ikea Pax wardrobe?

I just registered because I need your advice
I am planning to buy a Pax with a width of 250cm
for that I also need doors - sliding doors
and then the Lyngdal door came to my mind - frosted glass (would be the cheapest - I don’t want to spend more than 300 euros on the door)
what do you think about this door - is there a risk that it will fall out
since it will be a white cabinet - possibly a hinged door in white
I would be grateful for any advice

What do you mean by "that it falls out"?

I have a 250cm PAX with Lyngdal sliding doors and nothing falls out... :D

I didn't even notice the recall... But I don't think the Lyngdal doors were affected by it, otherwise I would have read about it.

I actually assembled the wardrobe on my own, which wasn't exactly fun with my fairly severe disc problems at the time. However, it is possible, you just have to be a bit careful (especially when setting up the corps - otherwise they collapse). The doors themselves were also easy to assemble - only hanging them is tough, as the doors feel like they weigh 2 tons. My wife could practically not lift the door - so you should definitely have two strong people on hand to get them into the guide rail.

And you should be able to invest an afternoon. It takes a while until the thing is completely set up (including the interior) - for me, doing it alone, it took two afternoons.

okay then another thought how is it with the lyngdal doors - can you see everything completely - or does it look a bit blurred ikea does offer the assembly service could you say that they only assemble the carcass including the door and that you do the rest yourself would the price stay the same or would it be a bit less thanks cindy

It is as you would expect from frosted glass - you can see the clothing through it, but more like a shadow. The only thing that clearly shows through are the shelves - which for me, just like the carcass, are white. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether they find that disturbing. I didn't care, I rarely let visitors into my bedroom anyway... ;)

The assembly service could work like that, but since the price for it is, as far as I know, based on the value of the goods, you might as well have everything done. The interior fittings won't be a big cost factor (unless you fill everything with drawers. A few extra euros won't make much difference there...

The bigger problem probably lies in the fact that the interior fittings are installed before the doors are hung - I don't think the craftsmen will want to wait that long (unless you do it yourself).
