Hello community,
first of all: I know little to nothing about this topic, which is why a company will take care of it.
At my grandparents' place, there is an outdoor terrace, half of which is covered by a balcony. Over the decades, the tiles on the balcony and the part of the terrace that is not covered have come loose due to weathering. These are the same white 25x25cm tiles (they look like tiles but with a rough anti-slip surface). Both the balcony and terrace are to be completely redone. The question that arises for me is: does it make sense in this case to use such tiles again and grout them as usual, or should one approach the matter completely differently? They do not want wood or wood imitations. Since I have no knowledge about the topic at all, I hope someone is familiar with it and knows some suitable options for what can be done here, also to permanently prevent possible water damage to the masonry.
Thanks in advance
