The screed & impact sound insulation will be removed at the spot where the pool will stand. The pool will then stand on the 25 cm concrete slab. (Basically recessed 13 cm into the ground.)

Dimensions
Room: 5.08 m x 4.65 m x 2.31 m
Pool size: 2.46 m (width) x 4.60 m (length) – outside / 2.13 m (width) x 4.27 m (length) – inside / 122 cm height

A pool dehumidification system will be installed, which can extract 1.5 liters of water per hour from the air at 25° C and 60% humidity. (Meaco Wall 53).

Unfortunately, there is no proper pool builder planning an overall concept. The pool comes from Endless Pool. In hindsight, I also see it as a major disadvantage that the pool is only delivered and assembled, but no overall concept is developed by a professional. The assembly is done modularly. The parts are dimensioned so that they can be carried down the basement stairs. You can watch this on YouTube in a video called "Installing an Endless Pool."

That sounds good. But is there a way to apply a sol-silicate paint or dispersion-silicate paint without sanding off the dispersion paint?

At the moment, I see three options: a) Stick with dispersion paint (because there is a dehumidifier that keeps the humidity at 60-70%) b) Sand off the dispersion paint and use silicate paint (i.e. sol-silicate paint or dispersion-silicate paint) c) Apply a primer and then use sol-silicate paint or dispersion-silicate paint (possible???)

Now I have found something else, see attachment.

With that, the options now look like this:
1) Stay with dispersion paint (because there is a dehumidifier that keeps the humidity at 60-70%)
2) Sand down dispersion paint and use silicate paint
3) Apply primer and then use dispersion silicate paint
4) Use sol silicate paint (without primer)

I now see the best cost-benefit ratio with 4).

You can also apply the sol silicate paint over the dispersion paint. However, if it were my pool and I already had to put in a considerable effort, two options would come into question for me: 1. Simply sand off the dispersion paint. It's not a big deal with a suitable sander and extraction + silicate paint 2. A nice pool room with a separate shower, proper wall waterproofing, and on most walls NO paint, but beautiful tiles or seamless wall coating (concrete cire, tadelakt, etc.) or decorative panels

Around the pool, the wall is waterproofed and tiled, but not in the whole room.

What was used for plastering? If it was gypsum plaster, you can forget about using a pure silicate paint. It does not silicify with gypsum.

If you want to take advantage of the diffusion openness of silicate paint, the dispersion sludge has to be removed anyway. Just apply 1mm of sol-silicate and hope it doesn't mold, well.

Tiles, yes. But not everywhere, right? It's supposed to be a pool, not a slaughterhouse.
