Why does a house have to go into the pool? Drain the water, seal it in terms of plumbing while considering possible repercussions, put in a thick carpet, studio equipment on trusses to avoid damaging the wall. Then a structure on top that a) leaves headroom in the pool and b) leaves headroom above. I just wonder what kind of acoustics that brings.

One can have a good discussion about the sense or nonsense of such a construction. There are certainly other solutions, but I get the impression that the OP is in love with his idea, and as the saying goes, man’s will is his kingdom...

I just want to point out: if you put a box in there that can also be closed, then definitely think about ventilation, otherwise you won’t necessarily create good music down there, but certainly breathtaking mustiness...
