What was used for plastering? If it was gypsum plaster, you can forget about pure silicate paint. It does not silify with gypsum.
If you want to take advantage of the diffusion openness of silicate paint, the dispersion paste has to be removed anyway. Just brush on 1mm of sol-silicate and hope it doesn’t mold, well.
Tiles, yes. But not everywhere? It’s supposed to be a pool, not a slaughterhouse.
It might be gypsum plaster, no idea.
Do you think painting with sol-silicate paint has no effect at all? Or does it have some effect, but not as much as genuine silicate paint on a mineral substrate.
What would be the best possible solution for you in our situation?
In any case, the pool dehumidifier plays an important role for us.
