Yes!

I personally wouldn't like it either.

We have variant 2 (Schiedel).

Works great.

Here variant 3 (Hillen Osmotec LAS-F), and it was available at the same price as (1) and (2). Works perfectly and is, in my opinion, the most coherent variant. But I also have a brick chimney, so nothing of the square flue is visible.

I couldn't find the first offer quickly anymore. But at least now we definitely have a 2 in front.

In the chimneys from Tona, there is a gap between the flue pipe and the outer stone that can be used for the supply air.

You are right. I can't quite figure it out now either, also because I can't find the offer anymore. Maybe it was a different manufacturer in the first offer. But never mind, I am satisfied with the solution as it is now. And the supply air doesn't get so warm (hot) that the stove stops drawing. It's not as if cold air has to fall down there. The hot air is drawn off through the flue pipe, and the stove has no choice but to draw supply air from wherever it can.

My chimney sweep and also the chimney builder both told me that these fresh air chimneys are crap, because there are situations where the draft can't pull properly.

We have a regular Schiedel, which inside has a round fireclay pipe, which is supposedly great, but drilling into it is the worst. And in our case, it was drilled at an angle...

: You have a basement, I don't understand why you didn't route the fresh air through there? I have a hole in the wall, in front of it an air shaft, and that's it - no mold, no costs
