Where is a possible second bathroom feasible in the floor plan?

Hello everyone,

I'm posting my question here because I'm not exactly sure where else it fits. I'm currently in the process of buying a house (see my other thread ) and another interesting property has now come up as a short-term alternative, where an important point for us would be the second bathroom and whether such a thing could be realized:

The bathroom is on the east side on the upper floor (relatively small, about 4.5 sqm) with a bathtub (Picture 1), which we would probably replace with a shower. We practically never use the bathtub and I don’t find bathtubs very suitable for showering. Besides, this would save some space.

Directly below it is the guest toilet and below that in the basement is a storage cellar (see floor plan, Picture 2). According to the floor plan, it has the same dimensions as the bathroom on the upper floor. So my question would be whether a second bathroom could be realized there where the storage cellar is. I don’t know, but I think the water pipes and drains should run in the wall anyway if the guest WC and bathroom are above it.

A second option would be to build it in the hobby room in the basement (I tried to roughly draw it in (Picture 3)). There would be no window there, but there is already a washbasin and therefore probably the corresponding connections. However, there might be the problem that the water would need to be pumped up a bit from the drain, since the drain might be at a higher level.

What do you think? Which solution would be the most feasible?

Thanks and best regards,

Hubi

If you were to upload the entire floor plan of the bathing levels, one could also see whether it might be possible to add something from a room or corridor piece to the bathroom. As it is, it is not even clear how the staircase runs.

What is one supposed to recognize here? These could be different floors or even houses. Such a question doesn't make any sense at all. Please upload complete plans showing where the rooms are, where a bathroom already exists (and thus the installations), and where another bathroom could make sense. I do have many talents, but unfortunately, the thing with the crystal ball still doesn't work...

How about installing the second shower in the guest WC? Unfortunately, the plan for that is missing...

As you already wrote, when installing a bathroom in the basement, you have to consider the sewer level or the sewer connection. If the sewer is too high, you need a lifting station; for the toilet, a special fecal lifting station; for the sink, shower, washing machine, a wastewater lifting station is sufficient.

OK, sorry… sure, I can show you the floor plans here again. However, no dimensions are included: 1 = ground floor, 2 = upper floor, and 3 = basement, sorry that was not indicated
