When will the property tax assessment notice arrive?

We have been living in our house since July 2019, and the property has legally belonged to us since the beginning of 2019. Now I actually expected in 2021 that the standard value of the property would be determined and that I would receive the notification or we would receive the property tax notice. However, nothing has come so far, and that surprises me a bit. The determination is always made as of January 1st of the following year. That would have been 2020. Now the first half of 2021 is almost over and we still haven't received anything.

How long after acquiring your property/land did you receive your property tax notice?

I’m not stressing about having to pay it urgently, but I have a feeling that we will eventually face a big back payment.

We have now been waiting for 18 months as well; we are still only paying for the land itself.

Arrived from the seller a few days after purchase :D. The new one from the city came right at the beginning of the following year, they didn't waste any time. I would ask, because they certainly won't forget. Unless a high additional payment wouldn't bother you.

About two weeks ago, shortly before the [Einheitswertermittlung], it happened to us. Move-in was May 2019 :)

Ok, thanks. So it's very different. We moved in after seat88, then I'll wait until August or so. Maybe something will come then...
