When will I receive the money from the loan agreement?

The Sparkasse didn't care when we used the equity capital. Money was paid out directly "on demand" into our account. No invoice or similar. However, the branch manager could always check the construction progress himself, as the house was only 200m from the branch. Whether he actually did so, I don't know. When I wanted another 30,000 shortly before the end, I had to send some photos of the construction progress, which I believe he had to upload into the system.

Ergo: All banks handle it differently. You should discuss this WITH the bank BEFOREHAND.

We will probably have the contract ready for signature in our hands by the middle of next week.

If you neither know nor understand the contract, then you should not sign it.
