What type of television connection are you planning in the new single-family house?

We also have fiber optic here in the sticks, it cost 800€ (-300€ because of the Telekom contract). I’ve initially taken the smallest possible package, so 50MBit. It’s 1000x better than such a 200MBit copper line from Vodafone! Ping is super and stable, no connection drops and two TV streams with online gaming is no problem.

seriously fiber? 50 MBit? 800 € sounds like a standard Telekom house connection. Are you sure it’s not VDSL? So you can also take 1000 MBit up and down?

Yeah, I could choose between 50, 100, 250, 500, and 1000. The 800€ is the standard price at Telekom.

It also depends on the region in Germany... here in the "city" a maximum of 100mbit is possible. But on our street only half, 50mbit. At my parents' in the countryside it is currently 6mbit and at my brother's it is even only 2mbit. Not much streaming and TV over the internet is possible there...

That strongly depends on TV usage. If I remember correctly, Magenta 50 MBit allows 2 HD channels and 1 SD channel simultaneously. For example, recording two HD shows and watching a third in SD. Or watching two HD shows and recording one in SD. Time-shifted viewing or replaying a show must be considered like a recording. When using two receivers simultaneously in the house, situations can arise where 50 MBit reaches its limit.
In my experience, gaming has hardly any impact. I've never been able to notice any effects from it.
