Well, then we agree on the topic of fixed price and building with an architect.

For a prospective female builder, this sounds very strange. A confusion of terms that may only serve to legally take the builder's money, which is often not even available, out of their pockets. Sorry

Hello, Renia, what exactly did you not understand?

I have understood that it is about breaking normal thinking with terms and regulations, which would otherwise still give the client the security of keeping an overview. But it seems that the experts have come up with games to prevent exactly that and to enforce higher prices. The fact is that from the beginning one wants to know what a house with everything costs, which is also determined beforehand. Usually the money is not available and additional costs can completely throw the client off track. That is exactly irresponsible. It does not help if then a super clever person comes along and quotes some rules that may also be known in certain circles.

My point exactly, but why do aspiring homeowners sign contracts every day without understanding the content and without knowing the final costs? A homeowner should urgently engage with the entire matter and, if necessary, seek professional advice if they do not have enough knowledge themselves.

Hello,

THAT tooth you can pull out again immediately – a contract always involves at least two people. The experts – by the way not only here in the forum, but nationwide, readable/now available as a podcast on screen – talk themselves hoarse saying that exactly what you described does not happen. But what do a multitude of builders do – exactly the opposite, because stinginess is cool after all. And do you know what? I think Mother Nature arranged that cleverly – everyone gets what they deserve!

At the very beginning everyone wants a Maybach® – during the intensive consultation and close examination, in the end usually a mid-range car results. The prospect who listens to the consultation recognizes their mistakes in the price expectation – how should they know otherwise if they have not dealt with the matter beforehand? – and with them you can be sure to have fruitful conversations; regardless of whether they become the customer or not. But the one who, in their view based solely on greed – despite extensive explanations in the conversation, online, consumer advice center etc. – against all reason listens to the "market criers" of the industry, ends up getting what they deserve – soon again a main role in a documentary about shoddy construction.

You should have your naive remarks checked again by your brain given to you from birth. If necessary, a quick reading of the latest federal court decisions regarding internet appearances could also be helpful; this should be possible regardless of hair color. Otherwise: the "carpenter" also left holes here

Kind regards
