What is the depreciation value of an 11-year-old built-in kitchen?

I see it this way. The condominium was sold, the new owner terminates the tenant due to personal use. That is always a risk, and the tenant association can really throw a wrench in the works. Well, it works, the tenant moves out, but leaves a kitchen there, ok, I agree to dispose of it because the tenant association spared me that.

So the 9-month notice period will be observed. The little house had previously been occupied by the owner and she now wants to move back in. She would probably like to have the kitchen again, but my mom would rather give it away than let her have it cheaply!

A fitted kitchen is usually depreciated over 7 years. It is therefore worthless, and one can be glad if the next tenant/buyer takes it over and you don’t have to dispose of it yourself.
