What is the approximate cost of building a swimming pool in the basement?

Sorry, my "praise" for the first project is now followed by devastating criticism. How could you destroy these design classics...? Especially at the sight of the corner bench group with the ashtray arrangement, old youth memories awakened in me, telling me... it wasn't all bad after all. Many a late-night poker round without disturbing moments like phones, technology, intelligently talking people... just the ever-overflowing ashtray (there’s already a replacement on the table here), the completely smoke-filled basement room, and endlessly lukewarm beer with a few pretzels (healthy nutrition is overrated nowadays anyway) were enough. Alternatively, there were also roulette evenings/nights with equipment from the former online retailer Neckermann. Ah... how wonderful. Your project should encourage building in old properties. Simply great - a very special project! - despite disregarding my youth memories or maybe exactly because of that

Well done. A private cinema, how cool. You really feel like working out there. And there's still enough depth for a jumper/trampoline :)

Haha, yes, a bit of nostalgia was also involved for me. As a teenager, I also had a basement like that where I drank with my friends. Part of the paneling lives on in the pool, and the rest is gradually going into the fireplace. So I honor the memory :p

:-) You really have special children. ;-) I had to giggle at your first post, imagining you and your wife sitting in the warm, pleasant water of the whirlpool, with all the massage jets, the "bubbles" etc., while your children frolic separately from you in the cold (!!!) swimming pool, and you watch them. :-) I already thought, great kids. ;-)

This is a wooden boat .. I admit, the steering wheel and the pirate flag are not quite as clearly visible in the picture.
