The windows in the basement rooms are 60cm high, 100cm wide, and have a sill height of 168cm, with a nice PVC shaft in front.
Honestly, I have no idea about casemates
I’m telling you, and it’s stated in #10 from me with sources, what a living room is and needs.
Half a square meter of window with a PVC casemate in front of the window is not enough to a) be an escape route and b) the window size is not sufficient to provide adequate lighting in a room larger than 6/7sqm. Smaller rooms do not qualify as living rooms due to their tininess.
A room is not a living room just because it has a TV connection or carpet.
Converting it into a living space is borderline anyway, but everyone can do as they please (as far as I’m concerned).
Sorry, but you can forget about roller shutters for the basement. A basement window doesn’t need something like that if there is a casemate in front of it.
