Hello everyone,
which documents, protocols, or reports must be handed over to the customer after commissioning the electrical installation in the new building?
The electrician was commissioned by the general contractor. There were some measurement problems during the execution of the E-check. And since then, I have never heard anything about it again or received any documentation about the electrical installation in our new building. Does something have to be handed over there? Or is it mandatory to create documentation? By the handover of the house from the general contractor to me, I have become the operator of the electrical system. What rights do I have to which documents there?
Thank you
Stefan

With us, after a brief instruction at the fuse box, there was a rather brief one-liner in which the electrician confirmed the proper execution and had me countersign. Nothing more.

However, we also had no problems. But what documents is the electrician supposed to submit anyway? If you were occasionally on site during the construction phase, you usually have a rough overview of whether the work was done correctly.

An electrical installation must be completely inspected and then a report must be created, which of course must be handed over to the operator. Initial commissioning according to DIN-VDE 0100-600 (E-Check)

And depending on the complexity of the system, much more should be delivered there. I wouldn’t feel like checking hundreds of terminal blocks for their intended use.

A documentation in words and pictures of the foundation grounding is also part of the documents. This is also an important component of the electrical system and thus serves for safe operation. Request everything. also the already mentioned test protocol. Prepare yourself for difficulties.

Ok. Thank you. We have now been living in the house for almost a year and I am still waiting for the documents as well as the labeling of the fuse box. (Habe ich mittlerweile selbst übernommen)...
