Your thread reads well, I’m very happy for you that everything worked out well! The more recent reviews and experience reports from the last few months have put me off a bit. We are currently favoring E&E

Back then, a few blogs/reviews about T&M also unsettled me.
Regarding the Google reviews, I can only give you the tip: take a closer look at the authors of the posts.
I immediately disregard people who have only one single post on Google. People who create a Google account solely to review T&M (whether positive or negative doesn't matter) just smell suspiciously like fakes. Most people already have a Google account anyway. So if someone creates a new one just to review a company, then it’s either someone who already reviewed with their old account and wants to "give more weight to their voice" by writing more. Or they are competitors (if negative) or purchased for advertising purposes (if positive).
Therefore, I am only interested in genuine posts by Local Guides or people who provide otherwise plausible ratings.
Also suspicious are accounts that rate not only T&M but also the same other companies conspicuously positively or conspicuously negatively. I don’t believe in such coincidences.
For a pizza delivery service, this kind of research would be too stressful for me, but when it came to the construction company, I really clicked on ALL the names of the reviewers and checked what else they were up to. Back then, I was really amazed.
Whether these obvious fakes are still there now, I don’t know, but I think some of them were deleted by Google.

Oh yes, a tip for what I mean: Compare the two reviews by "Captain Poroton" and "Spezi 81" on Google.
Particularly striking are phrases that are almost identical word for word ("the handling..... peculiar", "to this day ... various defects", "professional ... presentation").
I would almost bet my favorite shirt that it was typed by the same person.
Judging by the way the post is written, I would also suspect a competitor rather than a genuine builder.

In my opinion, some of the positive ones are also fakes, some of it just sounds too much like marketing babble and too little like experience.
Anyway, aside from the reviews, feel free to tell me which recent experience reports put you off, I’d like to read those too.
I know a few older blogs where things got pretty chaotic, but if you have something from 2019/2020, bring it on.

There is a construction blog with comments from March 2020 onwards reporting problems, especially with the subs used by TM.

What should I roughly be looking for? The subs are partly really not that great, with us it was mainly the electrical company that was annoying.

I had searched for T.... and M.... experiences on g.oo... and then the second entry, a blog with a female and male name..

However, as mentioned at the beginning, for us it was decisive that they absolutely wanted to push a floor plan on us and seemingly did not listen to what we wanted.
