Maybe we should omit the discussion about bathtub yes or no. Zr10r has planned the bathroom that way for certain reasons. I might possibly extend the shower further to the 2m mark of the sloping roof. Then you have a bit more space for the towel radiator right next to the door.

is this your only bathroom? If that is the case and up to 5 people are running around there from time to time, I also see the bathtub as more of a waste of space given the size of this bathroom and the frequency of use. Of course, children like to bathe, but that eventually stops after a while.

but well... you have to be pain-free anyway if you place the toilet directly next to the washbasin for 5 people.

Maybe instead of the storage room on the upper floor, plan a second bathroom? Downstairs, take a corner from the (too) large kitchen and then you can do laundry there.

I have now also looked at the floor plan in the other thread again. I would consider swapping the storage room on the upper floor with the bathroom. Although the floor area is slightly smaller, you would have more options here due to the absence of the sloping roof. If necessary, you could take 50 cm from the master bedroom. It's a pity to put a storage room there anyway.

There is another bathroom on the ground floor, at least a shower bathroom. Therefore, I don't think a second (or third) bathroom necessarily has to be on the upper floor.

I think that's a good idea! With a length of 3.10m, you should easily be able to fit a bathtub and shower on one side, and (double) sinks and toilet on the other side.

I find it impractical to have to change floors to take a shower (or whatever else, if the upstairs bathroom is occupied).
