Hello everyone,
I would like to first say something about my situation. It looks like I will be building on my parents' property. I have received money and only need to borrow a maximum of €100,000 additionally. My father bought a small garden next to the front yard property, which is building land. The house can have a size of about 10x12m, minus all distance requirements from the street and neighbors. I have the following problem: I don't know where to start and what to apply for where, and what the best course of action is. I want a small house with a first floor and an attic; it should also have a basement. I am leaning towards a prefabricated house. What do I have to do first, go to the building authority and submit a building application, or first go to a prefabricated house company to determine the size and type of house? Only after that can I apply for my financing, right?
Another problem is that I don't know whether I should choose a prefabricated house made of stone or a solid construction made of wood or something else?
Can someone tell me how it works with the basement? Can the prefabricated house company commission it, or do I need an architect?
Thanks for your info
