1. A preliminary sampling does not replace what we are actually concerned about, because there I only get an impression regarding the selection/additional costs, but no protocol on how exactly what is described – the reason for our concern, as we have already seen protocols after the equipment sampling that are not only brief but very brief. (Example trade tiles: two sentences – not even describing which tile format is included, let alone how the walls are tiled or included, and nothing described about that or a reference to a tile plan or similar). Yes, you can complain about something like this before signing and ask for it to be supplemented, but with so many trades you might also overlook something yourself and could regret it later in the worst case. So a look at a turnkey protocol in advance would be helpful to see how the descriptions are each carried out here. If this gives us a solid impression from the start that everything is described in detail, we simply have a better feeling – like signing a contract and then possibly being surprised later by our protocol, which we are seeing for the first time in this form, and then thinking, "We should have better looked at something like this somewhere beforehand." After all, I also look at a house already built by the company before buying from the company to get an impression of how they build, what the quality is, etc. And besides the actual house, we would also like to have largely looked at the "quality of the documents" in advance.
2. The normal construction description according to the standard has a total of 44 pages, which we also have, in which simply all trades are described according to the standard. I don’t know where the 8 pages are supposed to come from and whether we are even talking about the same thing. But that is merely the generally worded construction description and not the service description after the equipment sampling, which will ultimately be decisive for the construction.
3. We have an offer with standard content, which we also have. But see point 1.
4. What is supposed to be "cringe" about that – gets more and more interesting. Nowadays, it seems like with many things everything is immediately "cringe."
5. The thread can be closed/deleted – no idea how this is handled here. The matter is settled as I asked about it here in another forum and people are obviously more helpful and accessible there. Accordingly, we were able to resolve our concern there within an hour, just not here.
