Hello,
Nice approach.
What I find interesting is the separation between the living room and dining room and the huge windows in the dining room. Very pretty.
Here are my suggestions and questions:
1. In the living room - is that the fireplace or a TV? Make sure to paint the chimney! It takes away at least 40x40cm and, of course, all the way up. A chimney must protrude above the roof ridge. That’s why people try to place it as close to the center of the house as possible. Otherwise, you end up with a spire at the edge of the roof – especially with a hipped roof, that looks silly.
2. The stairs were already mentioned. 18.5cm step height was our limit.
3. A bathroom with 2 doors is also annoying, in my opinion. Make sure that the windows illuminate the room. Windows behind walls don’t help much. Windows directly in the shower mean you’ll just be cleaning them all the time, and limescale damage will ruin them in a short time.
4. Pay attention to the exterior views concerning the windows. Scattered randomly is not nice. Windows below the sink – then a mirror is missing. Better above the toilet with frosted glass.
5. Is a balcony planned at the bedroom? Or only a French balcony? Maybe for the kids?
6. Without a basement, be sure to paint the installation in the utility room. Electrical cabinet on the wall, heating, possibly storage tank, instantaneous water heater, water meter, etc. That gets very cramped very quickly, and forget about having a pantry there.
Well then, have fun continuing to puzzle over it. :)
